walking side by side. i reached out to hold your hand, and feel the warmth of your palm close to mine. i loved you. your touch, your presence. i hated you. for your walls, your heartless existence.
you had eyes that always changed color. you smelt like soap, you smelt like sweat, you smelt like sex and you smelt like chocolate melting in a microwave.
and we came to a fork in the road. and you weren't holding my hand anymore.
you clutched your stomach, fell to the ground. and burning stars poured out of your mouth. the air reeked of your shining bile.
and i left you in your stars.
